Powerhouse Comic Con 2019
Powerhouse Comic Con returned to the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA for its third year on July 21st, and brought more fun and excitement for fans of all ages.
The 2019 celebrity guest lineup was headlined by Jackson Bostwick, best-known for his portrayal as the original Captain Marvel in the first season and the beginning of the second season of the Shazam! television series in 1974–75. Bostwick's other notable credits include The Prey (1984), Psychopath (formerly, Eye for an Eye, 1973), and Tron (1982). Mane fans came out to use this once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Captain Marvel himself who traveled all the way from the East Coast.

Jackson Bostwick was joined by another rare guest in the Bay Area, George Lowe, a voice actor and comedian whose voice roles include Space Ghost on the animated series Space Ghost Coast to Coast and its spin-off, Cartoon Planet. Powerhouse Comic Con was Mr. Leowe's first California appearance in 20 years. The line for photos and autographs didn't die all day with Space Ghost funko pops being fan's favorite item to be signed.
Power Rangers fans got a chance to meet the actors behind the two iconic villains, Jason Ybarra (Baboo in Might Morphin Power Rangers), Ilia Volok (Master Org in Power Rangers Wild Force). Ilia Volok is also known for his work on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), Executive Decision (1996), Air Force One (1997), Swordfish (2001), Firefly (2002), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013), and The Punisher (2019).

For fans of the classic TV, Powerhouse Comic Con brought Jon Provost who is known as Timmy on Lassie, and Hollywood aficionados got to chat with the Hollywood historian and author Laurie Jacobson.

Horror TV show host Lord Blood-Rah and Colossus Girl, the leader of the Team Colossus, brought to life by Atom Bomb Body cosplayer, were at the show for everyone's delight.
One of the program highlights in 2019 was the Psychotronix Film Festival showing retro Sci-Fi, vintage cartoons, and weird short subjects on 16mm film.
The show also featured a vendor hall with toy and comic book vendors, an artist alley, mobile video games, tabletop games, racing simulator, and a fan-favorite cosplay contest with a cash prize for kids and adults.
